Error Reference

This page provides the error codes and their details that you may encounter when using the Compass Platform.

Error Code Type Description Workaround
400, 413, 422 Bad Request, missing headers, unprocessable entry, prompt is not provided or empty, or unsupported data type. The request is either missing required parameters or it was not understood by the model. Resend the request by ensuring the following:
  • Provide a valid and active subscription key.
  • All the required parameters are provided in the request.
  • All the headers are provided accurately.
  • The file size is less than or equal to 25MB.
401 Unauthorized The required authentication is either failed or has not yet been provided. You may not have a quota or access to use this model. Please check your subscription or contact compass.support@core42.ai for assistance.
404 Not found The model name or endpoint URL is incorrect or invalid. Resend the request with the correct and valid model name.
429 Too many requests You have reached the limit of your current subscription quota. For information on your subscription limits or to expand your quota, please contact compass.support@core42.ai for assistance. The error could occur in the following scenarios:
  • You have reached the limit of your current subscription quota.
  • If you are a prepaid user, you've consumed all of your allocated budget.
  • You are using a high-volume or complex service that consumes more budget or tokens.
  • Your daily or monthly budget is set too low for your usage.

To resolve the error, do the following:

  • Check your current usage of your account, and compare that to your account's budget or token limit.
  • Consider upgrading plans to get a higher budget or token limit.
  • Contact your subscription owner or Compass Support (compass.support@core42.ai) team to increase the quota or budgets for your resources.
500 Internal Server Error Internal server error, model busy or unavailable Please contact compass.support@core42.ai for assistance.
