Model Deprecations and Retirements

As the Compass team continuously adds new models and capabilities to the Model Catalog, it also deprecates or retires the existing models based on their provider's availability. 

• Deprecated:  When a model is deprecated, it is no longer available for new customers to subscribe, but available to the existing customers until the model is retired.
• Retired:  When a model is retired, it will no longer be available for use. The customers using this model will receive the return error responses for the requests.

Whenever a model is deprecated or retired, the customers will receive emails regarding the change and the action items that they need to perform.
